I’ve been playing with my camera a bit and happened to capture the sunrise one day this week. In the fall we have spectacular sunrises and sunsets. Photos cannot do them justice. Have some Beatles to go with it!

Spectacular, Ruth! Amazing, the show Mother Nature can put on, eh?
No snow on the trees, though – we’ve got that here, but it doesn’t look like it’ll be here on Christmas Day. Gotta have snow; I’d do just about anything to get it! Here in the Maritimes, it’s expected!!
Wait. . . Arch might read that. … 🙂
Have a great Christmas, Ruth – to you, yours and your audience!! xxx

Isn’t it just? I love sunrises and sunsets. I used to think of them as God’s handiwork, as though he’d taken a paintbrush to the sky. I didn’t think I would retain the same sense of awe that I’d had before when I lost my faith. I didn’t. I am now more in awe at the wonders of nature than ever before!
No, no snow here, I’m afraid. Rain. Cold, bone chilling, rain. Rarely snow.
You have a fabulous Christmas, too, my lovely friend. xxx

The back of my house faces east and the front faces west. My foyer is glass on both sides and you can see clear through, so I see the sunrise and sunset most everyday – even if I’m not walking the dogs. I had to get the camera and snap a shot of this! In person it was certainly breathtaking.
Happy Heathen Holidays to you, too, dear!

Wonderful photographs; really quite spectacular. And the perfect musical accompaniment. I knew George, who wrote it; a great man indeed.

You knew George Harrison?!? Who is this man with a blog who rubs elbows with the greats? Such a cool thing!

Absolutely beautiful! I’ve seen a few of those in the past few months on my way to work and you are right – a picture doesn’t do it justice – your pictures came out quite nicely though.
Love me some Beatles. Thanks.
Have a merry Christmas! https://s0.wp.com/wp-content/mu-plugins/emoji/twemoji/72×72/1f385.png

The Beatles are awesome! Some of my favorite music.
I love the morning and evening sky. It looks so majestic, like a rug unfurled.
Merry Christmas to you, too, Howie! Hope you and yours have a fantastic Christmas with your new little puppy.

Great pics…and a great song from my favorite Beatles album. Thanks. And timely, too, since they’re calling for some sun in San Francisco after today. It’s about time!

The sun came out there and it started raining here! Been dreary and rainy for two days and is supposed to be that way until Christmas.
It is about time you got some sun there. I’m glad you haven’t floated away. It’s making quite a mess on the West Coast.

Yes, the sun is actually out today and there’s no rain in the forecast for the next full week!
